Too addicted to Quit?

Things people would normally never dream of ingesting are pumped into the lungs and bloodstream every time a cigarette is lit. Chemicals like Butane, Carbon Monoxide, DDT (insecticide), Lead, even Polonium-210 (radioactive fallout), just to name a few. You know it's bad for you, so why is it so hard to quit?

"Nicotine addiction is one of the strongest addictions to overcome"
- Paraphrased from P&T News February/March 1999

Introducing

All-natural, homeopathic, sublingual spray that helps relieve your symptoms as you kick the smoking habit!

DO YOU MEASURE TIME BY WHEN YOU LAST HAD A SMOKE?

An article in "New Scientist" reveals that in addition to altering the body's dopamine levels, nicotine also causes hormone changes in smokers that alter their perception of time when they try to abstain. In a lab test, researchers studied how smokers and non-smokers estimate elapsed time. Initially, the two groups had similar abilities in time perception, but when tested again after abstaining for a day, most of the smokers estimated much longer time intervals, as much as 50 percent longer!

No wonder you're irritable when you try to quit!

And that doesn't even take into account all the other symptoms your body must deal with to break the strong addiction to smoking, and you've felt them, which is why it can be very hard to succeed. But you don't have to go it alone, you can arm yourself against those nagging symptoms today, which may be just the help you need to kick smoking for good.

FINALLY, A SAFE, HOMEOPATHIC SPRAY TO HELP YOU BATTLE SMOKING IS HERE!

Perhaps you're trying to quit smoking for the first time, or the tenth time. Either way, you need all the help you can get! SMOKE DETER is designed to help relieve the multiple symptoms that plague your body when trying to break the smoking habit, using natural herbs known in homeopathy to help relieve such symptoms as:

THE SMOKE DETER DIFFERENCE

A liquid oral spray, SMOKE DETER is absorbed quickly into the blood vessels under the tongue. Our sublingual application is the preferred method to deliver homeopathic ingredients to combat your symptoms so you can feel better quickly.

SMOKE DETER is designed to relieve multiple symptoms, and can be safely used with no drowsiness or adverse side effects.

  • Shortness of breath
  • Stuffy head
  • Nausea
  • Cold Sweats
  • Insomnia
  • Aches and pains
  • Irritability and anxiety
  • Increased appetite

TWO SPRAYS, 3-TIMES a DAY FOR NATURAL RELIEF!*

A HOMEOPATHIC BLEND TO ADDRESS MULTIPLE SYMPTOMS, NOT JUST ONE

Homeopathic doctors have been using the separate ingredients in SMOKE DETER to treat single symptoms for decades, but our experts in homeopathy have chosen a blend of these natural ingredients to help relieve a wider variety of symptoms in one, easy-to-use spray application. Here are a few samples of the symptoms that each ingredient is recognized by authoritative homeopathic texts to help relieve (see Ingredients Page for full listing):

  • Abies Nigra (Black Spruce): Relieves hard cough, headache and stomach upset
  • Aconitum Napellus (Monkshood or Wolfsbane): Calms anguish of mind and body, restlessless and dry, croupy cough with tickling sensation, also chest pain with cough
  • Avena (oates): Creates a soothing action on the nerves
  • Nux Vomica (Poison Nut): Fights food cravings, and stress-related symptoms

IT'S IMPORTANT TO GET EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, TOO

People who have quit smoking successfully will tell you that getting support from others helps tremendously, and the CDC notes that success rates for quitting increase when evidence-based interventions such as health provider reminder systems, pharmacologic or behavioral cessation therapies, and telephone counseling (quit lines) are employed.

So make sure you take advantage of support groups in your battle to stop smoking, but no matter how you're trying to quit, SMOKE DETER can help control those difficult symptoms, and our homeopathic formula is safe to use without worrying about drowsiness or other side effects.

GET THE RELIEF YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR TODAY!

You'll want to have plenty of SMOKE DETER on hand so you can fight those cravings and other smoking cessation symptoms SAFELY and NATURALLY...

Comments about this video:
isn't there radioactive material inside the smoke detector ? as far as i know they include americium in the ionization chamber, it emits alpha radiation and powerful gamma radiation. it takes 7434 years (aprox) to completely disappear and has a half time of 435 years (aprox) hey good luck microwaving the shit out of a smoke detector ! XD XD LOL !!!!
my smoke detector didn't do jack shit for my family in 2010. we mistook it for a new anti-virus program and let the fire rage for the next ten minutes, devastating half the house and smoking the rest of it.

They should have been fine. Alpha decay doesn't go very far, so the filters in the masks should have stopped it. But it laying there in the trash bin, might hurt.
They'll be ok but they still increased their cancer risk by a decent amount, so they could get cancer later in their life. you must've had a hard time filming that opening, if Jory and Riley were laughing that hard in the best take.
Aww don't put it between your legs it looks like your balls are beeping wait that is kind of funny ;).
Plus Hey7328, you kind of sound like someone who read a few sentences on a Wikipedia article and think you know everything about something. Hey7328 I gust wanted to tell u that americium emits alpha and gamma just like plutonium. Alpha is harmless outside the body but if it gets in u than it will kill a lot of cells, and has a higher chance of mutation than gamma.
Hey 7328, plz listen. Alpha particles can't penetrate the layers of dead skin on yr hand but when they get inside you they wills.
this makes me sad because my friends house burned down and they had 14 cats and 2 golden retrievers and they had smoke detectors but they did not go off... :( i miss you lightning...it is worse to inhale it than to ingest it, most will come out through the digestive system. If it gets in your lungs you will have it forever inside you irradiating your lungs and increasing your chance of lung cancer.
Dude I kno a lot about nuclear physics, Am241 is more chemically toxic and radioactive than weapons grade plutonium 239.
No, shut up. Plutonium emits gamma rays, which can cause cancer from one direct exposure. Americium can't do shit because its alpha particles die after a few centimeters of traveling.Yea, the radioactive properties of the element inside a smoke detector are far from enough to do any harm to you, even when in direct contact. But if you would have worn those masks you would have probably avoided inhaling the americium laced radioactive smoke. just so you know, most smoke detectors contain radioactive americium 241. It is a highly radioactive alpha emitter and doesn't leave your body if inhaled. it will stay with you untill it decays. It is a very high level alpha emitter and even if eaten and leaves the body, youll be still be exposed to about 600millirem. Trust me i know my radioactive elements. You wont get radiation poisoning but it'll increase your cancer risk.Im sorry but that was really stupid to microwave that smoke detector.
Also 600mr is alot of radiation, your exposed to about 300mr per year from natural sources like radon. But Americium will stay with you for its whole half-life. Which is about 430 something years, then it turns into neptunium.
"It wouldnt lead to significant absorbtain". it doesnt take alot of that stuff to mess you up, it is more radioactive and toxic than plutonium, and its in a powder form so it can travel easily by air.I definitely wouldn't recommend it but this is actually probably not that dangerous. The Americium in a smoke detector is inside a little metal can with narrow vertical slats around the circumference. The can will act as a faraday cage preventing any significant amount of microwave radiation from entering it here. In addition to that the Americium is in an amalgam with gold inside there. You'd have to heat it to >2,000C for a long time to get any significant amount of particle release. Unlikely. If you actually knew your radioactive element you'd know that alpha particles can't penetrate flesh.
I knew that but the way I would explain it is like this: Ya know smoke detectors have radioactive stuff in it that if you breathe it in it stays until it decays and when it leaves, you still have some stuff in your body and then you get cancer.. I am very scientific but I am bad with names and I have a bad memory *looks around* Where the F*ck am I?!

Just so you know there's an annotation in the video about that, pointing out that the amount in a smoke detector is harmless. Trust me, I know my Microwave videos. They won't have anything happen to them at all. I'm sorry, but that was really stupid to comment that.

umm...these are the same guys that went to microwave a destroyed microwave and didn't know what the names of the two parts were that they chose to use. them saying their isn't enough americium to do harm is questionable. ANY radioactive material is harmful if mishandled, and I would call microwaving it, even at a trace amount, harmful. knowing microwave videos does NOT make you an expert on radioactive materials.
To be fair, we never said we were. But seriously, lighten-up dude, it's web-video fluff. No hard science.
You know there's trace amounts of radioactive material in the EXIT signs in stores right? Seriously, it takes considerably more material than is present in a smoke detector to cause problems. And these guys are pretending to be stupider than they are. Them saying their isn't enough material to do harm is NOT questionable. In fact, I know Jon's an Emerson graduate and Jory's done arc welding, and I'd take their conclusions over a random yahoo on YouTube.

trace amounts of radioactive material in exit signs? not quite. true, the self-illuminated signs, but most exit signs are electric and don't use ANY radioactive material. also, I would rather get my information from people that are certified in the fields over those that simply watch microwave videos and believe everything is safe.

sorry but you are wrong there, there is radioactive material in exit signs, i have a few glowing tubes from a radioactive exit sign and they register a measurable amount on my geiger counter.
yeah, you have a self-illuminated exit sign, not an ELECTRIC exit sign which is NOT radioactive. so your claim that all exit signs are radioactive is FALSE, and stores don't use the self-illuminated type since they are intended for use in spots where electrical power is not available and the area is dark.
alpha particles can be stopped by a few centimeters of air they were far from it the am-241 is in a layer of gold (VERY high melting point and for all we know it might have been a photocell based smoke detector if swallowing those things hasent killed anyone i dont think putting it in a microwave will basicly=THEY'RE FINE OK?!

im sorry sir but microwaving a radioactive source would create radioactive material laced smoke, and once alpha emitters get into your body, its not good. Alpha emitters are harmless on the outside of your body, but if they get inside they can pose a much more risk than a gamma emitter, and will give you a significantly large dosage.
Yeah, they contain an alpha-particle (4/2He) emitter. Smoke blocks the alpha particles, breaking the circuit and setting off the detector. Yes, you microwaved something radioactive.
What if a working, intact smoke detector had been put into the microwave, with its batteries in place? As it began to melt and burn, would it have alerted eveyrone to the fact there was a fire inside the microwave? And if not, should it then have been fired?

86RAC hardwired with battery backup ionization`detection technology. Really wish you hadn't microwaved it. That was a unit I would have loved to have in my collection.

VERY BADD IDEA a smoke dectector has a radio active material called urainum bypass 343 aka radioactive graphite and could cause radioactive poisning (cancer) this is why you dont try this at home you and your nabors would be dead if someting worse than this happens.

Americium only emits alpha and beta particles, which can only be absorbed if ingested or injected. If it emitted gamma rays, it would not be in fire detectors.
first of all, radiation poisoning isnt cancer. It has a radioactive material called americium (wtf is uranium bypass 343). It could increase your cancer risk by a decent amount but it wont give you radiation poisoning.
"I wonder if its a fire detector cause it found it " xDDDDD dont get tired of hearing this from jory.
Guys I see how you are all freaking out over setting the smoke detector on fire with the radioactive stuff in it but smoke detectors are built to withstand fire. That was funny! Of course im enjoying the video. Jory: "I wonder if it's a FIRE detector? Because it found it! *Jory and Riley laughing hystericaly* 1:43.
Is it photoelectric or ionic? If it's ionic, you probably just nuked a highly radioactive (half-life 432.2 yrs.) isotope of the element right after plutonium, americium-241, as well as its decay product, neptunium-237, and a tiny amount of further decay products. The microwave as well as the gamma and alpha radiation and fire would make that microwave a death chamber. Although, as you said, Am-241 is relatively safe, I've even handled it before. If it's photoelectric, there's no americium.

I hate smoke detectors with a passion, after ours sounds a full on 125 decibel BATTERY alarm, not chirping which is much more pleasant.

There is one microcurie, which isn't enough to harm you even if you swallowed it. There is much, much less than 0.9 grams, I think it's about 50mg from memory.
There's radiated material everywhere but it isn't dangerous because it's so small as to be nonexistent. It isn't a good idea - the smoke detector itself has nuclear stuff in it and could - I dunno, waste your hair.
The smoke detectors do have radio active materials, but just because it caught on fire doesn't mean it was vaporized. As well, it's in a metal container which is probably unlikely to break. Also, they're wearing masks and it almost looks like they left after using the fire extinguisher. They're have to inhale the radioactive material through the mask, which I'd imagine is somewhat unlikely. You don't breathe in alpha particles.
That one might be a photoelectric smoke alarm rather than an americium smoke alarm. Americium has a long half life so don't inhale that smoke, it can stay inside you for a long time!- i think i'm too late. The opening makes Jory and Riley seem like very fun and likeable guys. I'd love to have them as drinking buddies. Kinda jealous of you, Jon.
Lol it's ironic because i fire detector is used to alert you if there is a fire but the fire detector IS on fire.

you might not do drugs, but I think you inhaled your fair share of nitrous oxide from that whipped cream can.
Is that an older smoke detector? Dunno if they still make ones with that specific sound/beep emitted when activated.
The reason the pro-nuclear assn. of America says that eating Americium won't hurt you is that they're assuming you'll excrete it in a matter of hours. But getting it in your lungs and thus blood stream is another story. Good luck. To see what alpha emitters can do inside your body google "Po 210 Poisoning".
